Where did you grow up? Spring Grove, Illinois (home of the World’s Largest Corn Maze!)
What company (or companies) did you work at before Scale? I worked at The Basement, an agency in Indianapolis where I lived and worked since college. I’ve since moved to Chicago and am enjoying commuter life on the L every day!
Do you have any skills, talents, or hobbies that most people don’t know about? I managed a TikTok account for my dog (@ollie_and_brittan) that gained a lot of traction. We have over 200k+ followers, about ten viral videos, and have done brand deals for PetSmart and Subaru!
If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be? My family has a remote cabin in southern Ontario that we visit every year. It’s on Lake Huron, and I’ll never get tired of the views, fresh air, and the chance to unplug.
On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me… At Montrose dog beach with my dog!
What’s the most exciting thing on your bucket list? I would love to scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef!
What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working? Anything that makes my dog happy – sleeping in late, visiting the dog park, strolling through all the dog-friendly stores on Southport.
Where is your favorite place you’ve traveled? Greece – I studied abroad there and then returned the following summer to work on an archaeological site, excavating Mycenaean chamber tombs. It’s so rich in history!
What’s your favorite bar or restaurant in Chicago? How can I pick just one!? Some favorites in my neighborhood are Ella Elli, Bites and The Greystone Tavern.
What’s your favorite thing about Chicago? There’s always something going on and more bars and restaurants than I’ll ever get the chance to visit!
