Craig Meisenheimer

What company (or companies) did you work at before Scale?
I spent the past 15 years at Eicoff, a part of WPP and Ogilvy. Prior to that, I worked 2 years at a small agency in KC called Gragg Advertising.

What is your proudest moment?
Personally, probably participation in social justice activities. In work, seeing my buy placements grow businesses and being a small part of those success stories.

Do you have any skills, talents, or hobbies that most people don’t know about?
I am (or was 20 years ago) a pretty skilled saxophone player.

If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
Probably on a flight. Traveling is my passion. I love exploring, whether that means a Chicago neighborhood I’ve not seen…or somewhere halfway around the globe.

How do you think your colleagues would describe you?
Personable, witty, smart, cranky before coffee.

What are you complimented on most in your work?
My adaptability to different work styles/personalities, my pulse on the media marketplace, my effective communication.

Where is your favorite place you’ve traveled?
An expedition deep into the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador was a transformative experience for me.

What’s your favorite thing about your city (Chicago)?
The summer. The amazing food. The hard-working, driven people who still (generally) are very nice.
