Megan Jones headshots

Where did you grow up? Primarily Madison, Wisconsin with a stint in the NW Suburbs of Chicago

What company (or companies) did you work at before Scale? I spent close to 20 years working at 93XRT and CBS Radio. Prior to that I worked for a beer importer, and planning marketing and fundraising events with the “party” animals at Lincoln Park Zoo.

What is your proudest moment? I’m pretty proud of my two kids Jackson and Lily…and that I was crowned the Musky Queen at the annual Will’s Northwoods Inn festival. (IYKYK)

Do you have any skills, talents, or hobbies that most people don’t know about? I am often a vat of useless knowledge.

If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be? (Don’t overthink it!) On a barge trip visiting wineries in France.

When you were 10 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up? Doing something (not competing) associated with the Olympics. I was very affected by the Miracle on Ice.

Finish this sentence. On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me…drinking coffee on the front porch or driving someone to a soccer game/basketball game/volleyball game

How do you think your colleagues would describe you? Organized

What’s the most exciting thing on your bucket list? Machu Picchu

What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working? Enjoying the beach at our place in the Dunes with friends and family.

What are you complimented on most in your work? Timeline Management

Where is your favorite place you’ve traveled? Hard to pick just one. Different places visited all represent a time in my life I wouldn’t trade.

What’s your favorite bar or restaurant in your city (Chicago)? The Gage on Michigan Avenue has been a “pre & post anything” favorite destination for years – has a great vibe always and bagpipers on St. Patrick’s day.

What’s your favorite thing about your city (Chicago)? Summer in Chicago can’t be beat.

What’s your go-to Karaoke song? If I have a good duet partner, it’s Meat Loaf “Paradise by the Dashboard Light,” but generally, I like to watch rather than participate these days.
