Where did you grow up?
I grew up on Tilghman Island – a small waterman’s village on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. Population is less than 900 people, and the elementary school population is less than 90 students. I had 9 students in my grade. My father was a watermen who worked the waters of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.

Do you have any skills, talents, or hobbies that most people don’t know about?
I can easily spell supercalifragilisticexpialidocious – and have been able to since elementary school (although I’m not sure why). I’ve recently gotten a Cricut machine and I’m enjoying making t-shirts and personalized items for family & friends.

If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be? (Don’t overthink it!)
On a beach with clear water.

When you were 10 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I’ve always had a passion for business, and I used to make my babysitters play “office” with me.

Finish this sentence. On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me…
sitting on the front porch with my husband drinking coffee.

How do you think your colleagues would describe you?
Team player, willing to help, kind, funny, hard worker.

What’s the most exciting thing on your bucket list?
Traveling to either Okinawa, Japan or to Ireland & Scotland.

What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
I’m happiest hanging at home with my family – husband, kids and dogs – either by the pool or on the porch. I like laid back get-togethers with our friends where everyone can dress comfortably and just be themselves.

What are you complimented on most in your work?
Willingness to jump in and help to get the work done.

Where is your favorite place you’ve traveled?
Bald Head Island, North Carolina – very relaxing – there are no motorized vehicles on the island, only golf carts.

What’s your go-to Karaoke song? I don’t know that anyone wants to hear me sing karaoke but “Summer Nights” from the Grease soundtrack is always a fun one.
